His introduction into wider gospel recognition came through connections within established South African gospel networks, eventually linking him to Joyous Celebration, one of the country’s most influential gospel collectives. Within that space, he contributed to live recordings and large-scale worship performances that reached national audiences and placed him among a generation of vocalists emerging through ensemble-based gospel platforms.
Around 2010, he transitioned into solo recording with the album “Yekubuhle”, marking his shift from group-focused performance into a more individual artistic identity. This was followed by live recordings such as “Live, Vol. 1” (2011), which captured his strength in real-time worship performance rather than heavily studio-structured production.
